The current program requires a 6 month commitment.  we have live calls one or sometimes twice a week.  

You get a ton of access - Monday to Friday, ill Factor and BA Mentorship Coaches will reply to any message you send him about your music with detailed feedback and attention. This is the most access you’d ever get to a Grammy-nominated producer, and to get his immediate thoughts and guidance on any of your music problems will help you solve any production problems you’re facing. 

Once  or twice a week, ill Factor will hold a live call, focusing on topics that will help you with your specific goals in music.
 

The live trainings will be recorded, so you don’t have to worry if you miss one of them, as you’ll be able to submit any tracks/questions to ill Factor for review beforehand. 

If you’re thinking of joining this program, you should already have time set out in your week to regularly work on music to get the most out of mentorship. Ideally, you should have enough free time to work on music at least 3-4 times a week, to make progress in your song ideas, and to also implement the lessons and finish the assignments you’re given.

If you want to take your production skills to the next level, and you’re ready to commit to working hard on your music with the guidance of a professional producer as your mentor and teacher, this is the program for you. As long as you’re hungry and eager to work on your music, and willing to commit to at least 6 months of following through on the feedback, exercises and advice the coaches give you, you’ll benefit from this program. 

However, we do recommend that you are at a basic level of music skill already. If you don’t know how to use a DAW, or struggle to even do a basic recording, this program isn’t for you as it simply wouldn’t be the right fit for you at the current stage of your music journey. For that, Beat Academy has free courses and resources online that would be a much better fit for you.

There isn’t a fixed structure to the program because it’s all customized down to your personal music goals and what you’d like to achieve over the 6 month period. Before the program starts, you’ll set your goals with several exercises given to you, and during the 6 months, ill Factor & the coaches will work with you towards achieving them. With the weekly live trainings, you’ll also get to bond with the 9 other mentorship students, and connect with artists and producers just as committed as you to achieving your goals.

As long as you have some prior music experience and understand the basics of recording and producing your own music - ill Factor would love to have you as a personal student. However, the most important thing he’s looking for is someone who’s committed to making huge change and progress in their music over an extended time period. If you’re someone who’s going to take the advice and directions given, and implement it to report back the changes and results - this program is for you.
